Our Lola Covid Response Plan For You
We've got you covered (updated 23/12/21)

Our Lola COVID Response Plan For You
Our No. 1 Priority is the safety of our staff and our customers. As we follow our government’s “Roadmap for Reopening”, we promise to continue to keep your health and safety and that of our team as our No. 1 Priority.
Our promise to you
We’ll continue, as always, to follow the letter of the law in relation to our existing HACCP Procedures (health & safety protocols for restaurants as set by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland).
To deliver the more recent government “Return to Work Protocols”, we’ve engaged the support of Health & Safety consultants. This is to ensure we’ve a rigorous COVID Response Plan in place that keeps your health & safety and that of our team as a top priority. So don’t fret #WeveGotYouCovered.
Your promise to us
There are a few things you can do to help us on this journey too. The Fáilte Ireland Guidelines request that any customer who may be showing symptoms of COVID should not attend any booking they may have. We’d politely request that should this be the case for you, please call us to rearrange your booking for a later date. This is in the interest of your safety and that of our team.
Should you wish to eat indoors, the recent guidelines released by the Irish government recommend the following:
- You’ll need to provide your Digital COVID Cert (DCC) / Vaccination Passport or Vaccination Card to confirm you’re fully vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 6 months. Anyone under 18 with you does not require proof of immunity.
- You may also be asked to show photo ID to prove that the above is yours.
- On arrival, we’ve been asked to scan your EU Digital COVID Cert or check your other proof of immunity.
- Visit gov.ie/reopeninghospitality for more information.
This is certainly not ideal, but a step towards normality.
In Failte Ireland's recently released (21/10/21) "Guidance for Indoor Hospitality", 1 metre social distance between tables is "considered best practice". We will endeavour to deliver same, but as a small restaurant there may be an inch or two in the difference. Also as per the new guidelines the max per table is 10 adults. However, due to the loss of tables through social distancing this unfortunately won't be achieveable in Lola. At present the max we can accommodate at any one table is 6 people. Masks must also be worn to and from your table. And we also have the unfortunate government imposed curfew of 8pm closing.
That’s enough of the detail out of the way. Please be assured that we’ve always had the health & safety of our team and customers as our top priority. So nothing’s changed there. More importantly, we’ll have plenty of laughter, tapas, wine, beer and the rest flowing! So don’t fret! Lola will take care of you!
Many thanks in advance for your patience and support. We can’t wait to welcome you with open arms (from a distance of course).
Vanessa & Anna
