Sunday Times critic Niall Toner gives rave review for Lola Click & Collect, Oct 20
"Bags of tasty tapas to get really stuck into"

We were delighted to see Niall Toner's review of our click & collect service...
Seems it was a winner all round for Niall and his family!! He especially had a love for Anna's cheesecake, ".. To call is cheesecake is little ungenerous though. Seeking out this classic Basque (I tihnk) spongy, gooey, cream-cheese confection is one of the reasons you might travel to Spain, but chef and co-owner Anna Cabrera's version will save you the air fare and probably a few weeks' quarantine..."
He saved a few dishes for the next day too.. his tortilla, octopus and pobre. ".. The octopus was still tender and sweet, and the paprika still fiery enough to let you know it is there. Patatas a lo pobre I had never had before, but potato - topped with more black pudding and grilled pepppers - proved to be Iberian comfort food at its best..."
... you can only cross your fingers for places like Las Tapas de Lola, an enterprise which has done more than just cook and serve nice food. It has added to the fabric of the city too, with its classy faux art-nouveau frontage and atmospheric outdoor area - even passing by it flicks your pleasure switches."
