Gratin of scallops & white fish
Benahavis is a beautiful village in the mountains above Marbella. Whilst once a quaint, little white village, it has experienced some of the inevitable development out from Marbella. However, the village itself has retained its charm in its tiny, narrow, white-washed streets.
Los Abanicos is a restaurant to try. It has some of the best meat the area has to offer (try their white veal!!), but it's also where we fell in love year after year with their scallop and white fish gratin. They were also kind enough to give us a rough idea of the recipe too!
