For many years, we visited El Relicario on our visits to Marbella. There were few restaurants we've visited where we've experienced such a personal touch. Micho taught us how important the little details are, even down to the little turtle-shell pill boxes he used for sweeteners.
Their food and wine list always impressed, but the one dish we would order over and over would be the patatas a lo pobre (poor man's potato), which delighted each time! It was his dish that inspired our very own.
