Sherry & Port
The Story Behind Sherry
Sherry is a fortified wine made from grapes that are grown near the town of Jerez, Spain.
The word “sherry” is anglicised translation of “Jerez”.

Sherry Amontillado
Medium-dry
Amber in colour with a nutty aroma on the nose. Light, soft & round on the palate, with a long aftertaste. Goes well with cured cheese, mushrooms, artichokes & green asparagus.
Sherry Oloroso
Medium-dry
Mahogany in colour, penetrating smoky aromas. Reminiscent of dark chocolate & walnuts in the mouth. Intense & concentrated, lightened by a tangy acidity.
Palo Cortado
This wine combines the palate richness of the oloroso with the aromatic delicacy of the amontillado. It’s perfect with nuts, matured cheeses, dried fruits & red meats.
Pedro Ximénez
Sweet
Produced exclusively with Pedro Ximénez grapes that are sun-dried until they become raisins. This is a dense, soft sweet & velvety wine. A dark mahogany colour with rich aromas of raisins. Perfect with chocolate desserts & crema catalana.
Solera
signature house style of Lustau that blends oloroso with sweet Pedro Ximénez to give a dark mahogany colour with bronze hues. Aromas of ripe fruits, mocha, cocoa & toffee. Very complex on the palate, with flavours of raisins, nuts, crystalized orange & candied peel. Goes well with blue cheese & puddings. Also ideal as a digestivo for the sweet-toothed.
